Bimini Beach Club

We arrived at 9:00 a.m. and disembarked the ship and waited for the shuttle to get to the Bimini Beach Club. Definitely take the shuttle...we saw some people walking, so thought that would be faster. Nope. Along the way a crew member was passing by in a golf cart and picked us up and took us to the Beach Club. Getting there early meant we had the pick of any chair either on the beach or by the pool. We chose poolside.

Today was really windy - some people thought it was too cold and they were in pants and jackets. It was not that bad...22 degreesC - but with the wind, it did feel a little cooler...but not puffer coat chilly...but the hardy Canadians and Norwegians managed just fine in bathing suits ready to enjoy the day!

We met a lot of people today. Good times! Poolside cocktails, dancing and riding the floaties in the pool. Sooo much fun!

Back to the ship to get ready for dinner and enjoy our last night on board! The show Persphone was fantastic...immersive right next to the audience. The performers were up close and personal...made for a enjoyable experience - acrobats, dancers, singers and circus performers...amazing!

Back to Miami tomorrow. What a great cruise!!! Too bad the weather was not a bit better but you can't control it, so you just make the best of it! Snow and -20 C at home was the alternative, so I was OK with that. I would definitely book another Virgin Voyage.

Flight back to Toronto later in the afternoon. Must be off the ship by 10:30 a.m. I took the shuttle to the Miami airport ($20) because Uber had a much longer wait because of traffic and the shuttle was leaving right away. All good!
